Sponsored by APS, this formal evening is filled with celebration as attendees honor those in the community who have excelled in the areas of business, education and community involvement and are deserving of special recognition. A partnership between the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, Gilbert Public Schools, Higley Unified School District, Chandler-Gilbert Community College, the Town of Gilbert and the Gilbert Republic, the evening is truly a community event and includes the popular Taste of Gilbert restaurant showcase. Taste of Gilbert samplings are included with admission. A cash bar will be available for the purchase of soda and wine.

In commemoration of the State of Arizona’s centennial celebration, the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce will present a series of awards to honor individuals who have significantly influenced and helped to shape the Town of Gilbert. The ‘Leon Uhlhorn Visionary Awards’ will recognize these leaders for their vision, commitment and follow-through as they made and implemented decision that forever impacted the town’s development.
